Author Guidelines

Introduction

Authors are encouraged to submit original manuscripts online, which are not currently under consideration at another journal, and must follow the format defined in the Author Guidelines. All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using detection software before and after the double-blind peer review process.

JAKUSI allows authors to track and participate in all steps of the editorial process, including peer review, copy editing, layout editing, and proofreading, all of which are managed online. Please use the official JAKUSI manuscript template to prepare your submission.

Publication Procedure

Once a manuscript is accepted by the Editor-in-Chief, it will go through the production process. First, it will undergo language editing, then returned to the corresponding author for final review and revision. Authors may make necessary changes at this stage.

The final version will be sent as galley proofs to the author, who will have two working days to check for any typographical errors. If the author fails to respond within this time, corrections may not be included in the final version.

Authors are encouraged to regularly check their submission status through their personalized online dashboard.

Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscript length: 5,000–7,000 words, including tables, figures, and references (manuscripts exceeding 7,000 words may still be considered).
